Question 1

Is IQTestReal a clinical IQ test?

Accepted Answer

No. It is an educational practice assessment. Its Estimated IQ is not normed, clinically validated, or suitable for diagnosis or high-stakes decisions.

Question 2

How is the Estimated IQ calculated?

Accepted Answer

The site converts accuracy on this question set into an IQ-style estimate centered around 100. The exact formula and its limits are explained on the Score Guide and Methodology pages.

Question 3

What kinds of questions are included?

Accepted Answer

Each attempt samples logic, pattern, numerical, spatial, and analogy questions. Three questions from each category make a 15-question practice session.

Question 4

Why can a score change on a retake?

Accepted Answer

Each attempt selects a different set and shuffles answer choices. Familiarity, attention, language, sleep, and the testing environment can also affect performance.

Question 5

How long does a practice session take?

Accepted Answer

Most people need about ten to twelve minutes. The timer provides context, but the test does not add a speed bonus.

Question 6

Where are my results stored?

Accepted Answer

Your result history is stored in local browser storage on this device. No account is required, and clearing the browser site data removes the local history.

Question 7

Can I use the result for school, work, or medical decisions?

Accepted Answer

No. Do not use this practice result for admissions, employment, medical, legal, or other high-stakes decisions. Seek a qualified professional when a formal evaluation is required.

Question 8

How can I make a practice attempt more useful?

Accepted Answer

Choose a quiet setting, read each question carefully, and answer without search engines or a calculator. Then read every explanation and note one reasoning habit to practise next.

Question 9

Where can I get a formal IQ evaluation?

Accepted Answer

Contact a qualified psychologist or appropriately supervised testing service. IQTestReal is a free online practice tool with immediate educational feedback, not a substitute for a professional assessment.
